Hi Maarten I'm currently using the 3.7.0-7 kernel and tried your suggestion (nouveau.config=PGRAPH=0) but I'm still seeing the corrupted screen (as shown in #4). I also tried your other suggestion with the same results.
I entered these settings in the same place that I entered "nomodeset" (during boot up). I hope that was correct. If not, let me know and I'll test again. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-nouveau in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1076776 Title: 12.10: Default background after logon To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1076776/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
