functioning afterwards. The problem would be if that error-state is
masking a later and fatal GPU hang. Though I would not expect you to
notice unless you tried to use GL or video decode.

If you can grab a profile of the system once you start encountering the
slow down, that would be very, very useful. sudo perf top (apt-get
install linux-tools and a lot of -dbg packages).
