Public bug reported: Around March 20th to 25th, a kernel upgrade in raring broke a previously functioning suspend/resume. Now, everytime on resume, the backlight will not come back on (you can fainly see that the lock screen window is displaying though). Switching to other terminals doesn't bring it back, nor does playing with the brightness from the hotkeys. Only SSH'ing in to reboot it brings it back.
