Like I said, processing the results from the GPU hang kills apport's GPU reporting module. Every time it tries to process the log files for packaging into a bug report, it dies. Then I get a bug report for apport itself to file--and I think I did, in fact. Unsurprisingly, like all (?) the other bug reports I've filed against Ubuntu in several years of using it: no response.
I'm getting very tired of being warned by Steam that I'm using an outdated Intel driver, and would I upgrade, please. I suppose I can just wait for Raring, but I'm trying to be helpful. And I'm a bit afraid that Raring won't be any better. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1153775 Title: [xorg-edgers] constant GPU hangs with recent xorg-video-intel To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/1153775/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
