I am using 12.04 x86_64 and since a few days, my Ubuntu informs me about "problems", which seem to relate to xserver-xorg-video-intel-lts-quantal. Sometimes, the whole computer (GUI hangs, no reaction on mouse/keyboard, can't switch to the terminal) hangs for several seconds. A few minutes ago, the machine completely froze and needed a hard reset.
May this be the same issue or is it a new one with the lts-quantal backport? What info do you need? ** Attachment added: "lspci-vvv.txt" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/993187/+attachment/3596725/+files/lspci-vvv.txt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/993187 Title: ubuntu 12.04 completely freezes frequently.
