Public bug reported: X completely froze on me. I was unable to access any tty or press ctrl- alt-backspace to restart X although mpd continued playing an mp3 in the background. I had control of the mouse pointer but nothing else. I eventually had to perform a hard reset. This is distinct from Bug #1160045 as on this occassion, my computer was completely frozen and required a hard reboot. I couldn't attempt to ssh into my computer as I didn't have another computer set up. However, my android phone could still control mpd remotely.
