Public bug reported: I'm using Ubuntu 13.04 dev with x11-xserver-utils 7.7~3ubuntu2. "lspci | grep 'ATI Wrestler'" is showing me the following:
00:01.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] nee ATI Wrestler [Radeon HD 6320] 00:01.1 Audio device: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] nee ATI Wrestler HDMI Audio [Radeon HD 6250/6310] It is an ATI chip with a HDMI port. xrandr is showing the following: Screen 0: minimum 320 x 200, current 1366 x 768, maximum 1600 x 1600 LVDS connected 1366x768+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 344mm x 193mm 1366x768 60.0*+ 1360x768 60.0 1280x768 60.0 1280x720 60.0 1024x768 60.0 1024x600 60.0 800x600 60.0 800x480 60.0 640x480 60.0 DFP1 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) CRT1 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) DFP1 is my HDMI port but I'm wondering why it isn't showed as HDMI1 or something else. I'm also wondering why there is CRT1 because I haven't connected another monitor on my laptop. ** Affects: x11-xserver-utils (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to x11-xserver-utils in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1162223 Title: xrandr is showing the wrong device names To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/x11-xserver-utils/+bug/1162223/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
