Yup, removing the changelog.Debian.gz file helped. I also had to remove changelog for libdrm-nouveau2, due to same problem. Not using xorg- edgers.
Limbo (the game) was removed for me on 2013-03-20 during a regular apt- get dist-upgrade: Start-Date: 2013-03-20 10:11:17 Commandline: apt-get dist-upgrade Upgrade: dmsetup:amd64 (1.02.74-4ubuntu1, 1.02.74-4ubuntu1.1), perl:amd64 (5.14.2-13ubuntu0.1, 5.14.2-13ubuntu0.2), libgl1- mesa-dev:amd64 (9.0.2-0ubuntu0.1, 9.0.3-0ubuntu0.1), libgl1-mesa-dri:amd64 (9.0.2-0ubuntu0.1, 9.0.3-0ubuntu0.1), libdevmapp er1.02.1:amd64 (1.02.74-4ubuntu1, 1.02.74-4ubuntu1.1), linux-generic:amd64 (3.5.0.26.32, 3.5.0.27.43), libgl1-mesa-glx:amd6 4 (9.0.2-0ubuntu0.1, 9.0.3-0ubuntu0.1), perl-base:amd64 (5.14.2-13ubuntu0.1, 5.14.2-13ubuntu0.2), perl-modules:amd64 (5.14. 2-13ubuntu0.1, 5.14.2-13ubuntu0.2), libglapi-mesa:amd64 (9.0.2-0ubuntu0.1, 9.0.3-0ubuntu0.1), apache2-mpm-prefork:amd64 (2. 2.22-6ubuntu2.1, 2.2.22-6ubuntu2.2), libpam-ck-connector:amd64 (0.4.5-3, 0.4.5-3ubuntu0.1), apache2-utils:amd64 (2.2.22-6ub untu2.1, 2.2.22-6ubuntu2.2), mesa-common-dev:amd64 (9.0.2-0ubuntu0.1, 9.0.3-0ubuntu0.1), apache2:amd64 (2.2.22-6ubuntu2.1, 2.2.22-6ubuntu2.2), libck-connector0:amd64 (0.4.5-3, 0.4.5-3ubuntu0.1), linux-firmware:amd64 (1.95, 1.95.1), apache2.2-comm on:amd64 (2.2.22-6ubuntu2.1, 2.2.22-6ubuntu2.2), unity-lens-files:amd64 (6.6.1-0ubuntu1~test1, 6.6.1-0ubuntu1), apache2.2-b in:amd64 (2.2.22-6ubuntu2.1, 2.2.22-6ubuntu2.2), libpam-xdg-support:amd64 (0.2-0ubuntu1, 0.2-0ubuntu1.1), libxatracker1:amd 64 (9.0.2-0ubuntu0.1, 9.0.3-0ubuntu0.1), libdevmapper-event1.02.1:amd64 (1.02.74-4ubuntu1, 1.02.74-4ubuntu1.1), xdiagnose:a md64 (3.2.2, 3.2.3), liblvm2app2.2:amd64 (2.02.95-4ubuntu1, 2.02.95-4ubuntu1.1), libperl5.14:amd64 (5.14.2-13ubuntu0.1, 5.1 4.2-13ubuntu0.2), handbrake-cli:amd64 (5334svnppa1~quantal1, 5350svnppa1~quantal1), handbrake-gtk:amd64 (5334svnppa1~quanta l1, 5350svnppa1~quantal1), perl-doc:amd64 (5.14.2-13ubuntu0.1, 5.14.2-13ubuntu0.2), consolekit:amd64 (0.4.5-3, 0.4.5-3ubunt u0.1) Remove: limbo:amd64 (1.3-0ubuntu1), libgl1-mesa-dri:i386 (9.0.2-0ubuntu0.1), limbo-bin:i386 (1.3-0ubuntu1), libgl1-mesa-glx:i386 (9.0.2-0ubuntu0.1), libglapi-mesa:i386 (9.0.2-0ubuntu0.1), libglu1-mesa:i386 (9.0.0-0ubuntu1) End-Date: 2013-03-20 10:12:57 Probably removed due to some i386-deps being removed for the dist- upgrade. I didn't have time to look into it then, but encountered this problem when trying to re-install Limbo. It has a few i386 arch dependencies – the machine uses amd64. No significant changes in package configuration on the machine in question before the problem occured, just normal apt-upgrades now and then. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to libdrm in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1083585 Title: package libdrm2 2.4.39-0ubuntu1 failed to install/upgrade: trying to overwrite shared '/usr/share/doc/libdrm2/changelog.Debian.gz', which is different from other instances of package libdrm2:amd64 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libdrm/+bug/1083585/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
