Yup, removing the changelog.Debian.gz file helped. I also had to remove
changelog for  libdrm-nouveau2, due to same problem. Not using xorg-
edgers.

Limbo (the game) was removed for me on 2013-03-20 during a regular apt-
get dist-upgrade:

Probably removed due to some i386-deps being removed for the dist-
upgrade. I didn't have time to look into it then, but encountered this
problem when trying to re-install Limbo. It has a few  i386 arch
dependencies – the machine uses amd64.

No significant changes in package configuration on the machine in
question before the problem occured, just normal apt-upgrades now and
then.
