PRIME multi-GPU support was added to xserver-xorg-video-nouveau 1.0.2. See http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=MTE4MzA
When using this driver in conjunction with xserver 1.13 it should no longer be necessary to use Bumblebee. If you need the NVIDIA GPU to scan-out what is being rendered (drawn) by the Intel chip (such as if the machine's only display connector is wired to the NVIDIA GPU), you will also need the reverse PRIME support described at http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=MTI5NDU See https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-nouveau for the driver version available in each Ubuntu release. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-nouveau in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/700646 Title: nVIDIA 425M (with Optimus) is not detected To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-nouveau/+bug/700646/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
