As the page you linked to says, you need to downgrade the X server to use the Legacy driver with Ubuntu 13.04. The makson96 PPA offers a way to do that, but you do not have it installed (and it's not officially supported or recommended by Ubuntu to downgrade critical packages like that). As such, I'm marking this bug a duplicate. Thanks. ** Changed in: fglrx-installer (Ubuntu) Status: New => Won't Fix ** This bug has been marked a duplicate of bug 1058040 fglrx-installer not working with AMD Radeon/Mobility Radeon HD 2000-4000 cards in Quantal -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to fglrx-installer in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1176441 Title: fglrx (not installed): fglrx kernel module failed to build To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/fglrx-installer/+bug/1176441/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
