After upgrading from 12.10 to 13.04 started having problems with video drivers:
1) Fully (!) Vanishes screen brightness on your laptop when you turn the 
discrete graphics card.
2) When using a discrete graphics card laptop was often overheat.
3) Sometimes the expansion is set in 1024 by 768 (the square in the center of 
the screen), and the laptop freezes. Sometimes for a few minutes (after that 
the console does not work sudo and most other teams), sometimes forever.
