Public bug reported:

[Impact]
 * When using a hybrid graphics laptop with an external display connected on
startup, a black screen will show on the external display, or the server will
refuse to start if the resolution is > primary resolution.
 * On nvidia 319 drivers in the prime configuration, the intel display will
stay black.

[Test Case]
 * Connect an external display to the secondary video card, or use nvidia
drivers in prime configuration.
 * Witness either a blank screen, or xserver failing to start. Correct behavior
is Xserver starting normally, displaying everything.

[Regression Potential]
 * Patch has been in saucy for a while, no regressions happened there.
