Public bug reported: About me - aka the user | Not a very savy Ubuntu user but on a learning curve :)
Connectivity: Out of the DVI connection of the NVIDIA card (the only video card present on the desktop) using a DVI to HDMI cable going to one of the HDMI ports of a 55" Samsung LED TV. Historic: * fresh installation of 13.04; * latest updates installed; * latest NVIDIA driver installed. Also confirmed as being installed with sudo /sbin/lsmod | grep nvidia * different configuration adjustements attempted in xorg.conf * after reading multiple forum threds, used other troubleshooting tools like get-edid, xrandr; That's it. Hoping for a resolution.
