I'm running Jaunty with nVidia driver 190.18.03. This is still an issue: $ ls -la /dev/nvidia* crw-rw---- 1 root video 195, 0 2009-09-04 23:59 /dev/nvidia0 crw-rw---- 1 root video 195, 255 2009-09-04 23:59 /dev/nvidiactl
