I encountered this bug on a Dell Studio 15 (Intel i965) using Jaunty with the xorg-edgers PPA and kernel, acpi-support, pm-utils, and compiz backported from Karmic. The Karmic daily livecd also has this issue.
Downgrading libgl1-mesa-dri to 7.5-1ubuntu1 as Martin Albisetti suggested on bug #419264 seems to be a workaround. I've done several suspend-resume cycles and it hasn't crashed. The package is available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/karmic/amd64/libgl1-mesa-dri/7.5-1ubuntu1 I haven't tried the kernel patch that's also supposed to fix bug #419264, but I can once it's included in Karmic. -- Compiz locks up on resume from suspend (intel) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/421736 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is the registrant for xf86-video-intel. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
