I suspect we're focusing on the wrong project here... This bug is assigned to XMir because we believe it will be solved/avoided when XMir can use the hardware cursor (like it does outside of Mir).
However it seems the root cause of the problem is a buggy X software cursor. Not sure, but is that DDX-specific? ** Also affects: xserver-xorg-video-nouveau (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Summary changed: - Cursor looks strange in some apps + X software cursor looks strange in some apps -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-nouveau in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1216708 Title: X software cursor looks strange in some apps To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/xmir/+bug/1216708/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
