I found another nice way how to reproduce (this or a similar issue) with a shaped window. program "display" appears to be creating shaped windows based on the opaque areas of the image. fluxbox is (regardless of the chosen style) still drawing a frame around the hollow window.
display the attached image with "display" from stock 13.10's imagemagick (8:6.7.7.10-5ubuntu2.1) Obstruct mplayer's Xv window wit that thing. So far there was at least one corrupted video line in each frame. Did that help with reproduction? ** Attachment added: "parallelogram image" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/1170117/+attachment/3904695/+files/parallelogram.gif -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1170117 Title: [gm45] Xv video corruption when obstructed by shaped windows (corner case) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/1170117/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
