Hallo! Same bug and same computer (Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo L7320). I'd like to install Lubuntu 13.10 on this machine but, since I'm not able to do it, I've tried also with Ubuntu 12.04 and other 'flavours'.
Lubuntu and Xubuntu 13.10 have the same problem of this description (it freezes during installation), Ubuntu gives an unusuable interface (without pointer, strange colours etc.). The only one I was able to use on this machine has been the liveCD of Kubuntu 12.04. Once installed, also this doesn't work anymore (I had to force xorg to use vesa driver creating a xorg.conf file, but the result is a poor graphic result). The liveCD seems to have, strangely, better result.
