I am afraid I cannot install testing version of Ubuntu to my main system, since some other programs might not work with it and I should use it intensively quite long (over a week). If you are sure the cause of the problem is xorg and Ubuntu 14.04 will use Mir, probably it is not wise to waste time to fixing such a rare bug on xorg.
