Hi! On an up to date Karmic the display works with the xserver-xorg-video-radeonhd package and only after removing the xserver-xorg-video-radeon package which makes me think that the bug comes from the ati wrapper driver from the xserver-xorg-video-ati package. I also wonder why the xserver-xorg-video-radeonhd package isn't installed by default? Bye!
