I believe this crash is another instance of bug #1285713, but apport
encouraged me to file a new bug rather than add information to the
existing bug, so here it is.

With a default install of 14.04 Trusty, every time I launch the Amazon
App from the Unity toolbar the screen freezes, the keyboard becomes
unresponsive, and eventually portions of the screen disaapear.

Over a serial console, I see the following kernel error messages get logged:
