When installing 14.04 LTS on an HP laptop PC Pavillion dv6, it boots
from the DVD, shows the screen with the keyboard symbol at the bottom
and then the screen goes blank. DVD activity continues for a bit and
then the activity stops and the laptop is unresponsive.

Note, the same DVD was used to successfully install 14.04 on two
different Dell dsktop PC's
