Public bug reported: Ubuntu 14.10 has inactive desktop in live desktop enviroment and after installation via"install on harddrive" option in menu.
There's no possibility of right-click on the desktop, Unity Launcher is inactive too and panel does not contain any informations( time, battery, settings etc.). Dash doesn't open and result of trying to start app via icon on launcher is long loading. Everything works only with nomodeset option in grub. Around Alpha 1 milestone was everything fine.
