Public bug reported: When using the fglrx driver gpu-manager will fallback to UXA. UXA is not implemented for broadwell in the 910 driver, but is required when using fglrx for offloading. When using FGLRX in the IGPU (integrated gpu) mode fglrx unloads itself and makes intel drive the screen. This crashes with SNA, because fglrx steals the driver privates.
Upstream has some commits to fix this, but they're missing in the 910 driver from trusty. ** Affects: xserver-xorg-video-intel (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: xserver-xorg-video-intel (Ubuntu Trusty) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: xserver-xorg-video-intel (Ubuntu Trusty) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1359105 Title: broadwell bugs with fglrx in xserver-xorg-video-intel To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/1359105/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
