Hi Christopher. The BIOS I have is already an F8 version variant and I would like to keep the variant. Further, I have not had this problem in the 6 years of owning the hardware until 14.04. So further to Darren's comment it seems very likely that this is a recent software issue. I noticed the problem as soon as I upgraded to 14.04, definitely before 19th September, but I did not upgrade on launch date.
I should add that although the problem commonly happens every 10 minute or so, there is sometimes a period of hours without problems and sometimes it happens on every click. I also have an Xbox 360 wireless connector. I will try removing it to see if that is causing some sort of conflict. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1371853 Title: Logitech wireless mouse periodically loses correct click behaviour To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1371853/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
