(Usually LCD screen + external VGA/DVI screen.) * Run xrandr --output <external> --rotate left * Expect a normal, rotated screen. * Bad behavior is a black screen. [Regression Potential] * Low, only affects the transformed case in optimus mode, but it will be tested against !optimus config too. ** Affects: xserver-xorg-video-intel (Ubuntu) Importance: High Assignee: Maarten Lankhorst (mlankhorst) Status: Confirmed ** Tags: trusty utopic vivid ** Changed in: xserver-xorg-video-intel (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed ** Changed in: xserver-xorg-video-intel (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Maarten Lankhorst (mlankhorst) ** Changed in: xserver-xorg-video-intel (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => High ** Tags added: trusty utopic vivid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1410238 Title: Rotating external display with optimus results in corruption To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/1410238/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
