That issue was disturbing some now outdated distro (by the way no real trouble met, quite harmless). No more recent duplicate reported. I suppose that some libx11 SRUs have been made since that problem appeared (2013 latest security updates)
So i propose to close that report as it have no real importance. ** Changed in: libx11 (Ubuntu Lucid) Status: Triaged => Incomplete ** Changed in: libx11 (Ubuntu) Status: Triaged => Incomplete ** Changed in: xlibs Importance: Medium => Undecided ** Changed in: xlibs Status: Confirmed => New ** Changed in: xlibs Remote watch: freedesktop.org Bugzilla #27552 => None ** Changed in: xlibs Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to libx11 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/507062 Title: synaptic assert failure: synaptic: ../../src/xcb_io.c:385: _XAllocID: Assertion `ret != inval_id' failed.
