You have been subscribed to a public bug: I use a Thinkpad T500 on a docking station. An external screen is attached to the docking station. When I start arandr it shows the outputs "LVDS-1" and "HDMI-2" where I would expect "LVDS-0" and "DVI-0". The Thinkpad T500 does not even have a HDMI output.
I have attached the output of the following 4 lines: xrandr --query --verbose > xrandr-qv.out xrandr --query > xrandr-q.out xrandr --verbose > xrandr-v.out xrandr > xrandr.out ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 14.04 Package: arandr 0.1.7.1-1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.13.0-24.47-generic 3.13.9 Uname: Linux 3.13.0-24-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.14.1-0ubuntu3.1 Architecture: amd64 CurrentDesktop: XFCE Date: Thu May 15 13:11:57 2014 InstallationDate: Installed on 2014-01-26 (108 days ago) InstallationMedia: Xubuntu 14.04 LTS "Trusty Tahr" - Alpha amd64 (20140121.1) PackageArchitecture: all SourcePackage: arandr UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) ** Affects: xrandr (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug trusty -- Arandr uses hdmi output which does not exist https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1319783 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xrandr in Ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
