this happens to my Nvidia le6200. I confirm it was ok with 12.04LTS. I set a workaround with nomodeset in the GRUB and "nouveau" pilote (the 304 nvidia proposed was freezing my screen). i followed this post to settle the solution : http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2258334 (and i thank these guys).
