To make doubly sure, I just purged, rebooted and reinstalled linux-
headers-3.19.0-26 linux-headers-3.19.0-26-generic linux-
image-3.19.0-26-generic

Same result as mentioned in my last post: The kernel installed with no
errors, but the driver is still (very) broken.
