Public bug reported: Hello,
My touchpad works fine except sometimes when I am using gedit, evince or eog. When using gedit, sometimes (I don't know why it occurs), if I use the touchpad to move the cursor, it will select the text like I was holding down left click and moving at the same time, it's very annoying. When viewing a pdf in evince, sometimes when I scroll with 2 fingers, it behaves completely strange, like it zooms out randomly, it happens also a lot of time when I try to take a screenshot with Shift+Print.Screen and I select the area I want. And in eog, when viewing a picture, if I try to zoom with Ctrl + scrolling with 2 fingers, it automaticly zooms out to -2147483648% so it's just a black windows... Do you know what is the source of these bugs ? I can provide more info, just ask Thanks a lot ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 15.04 Package: xserver-xorg-input-synaptics 1.8.1-1ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.19.0-30.34-generic 3.19.8-ckt6 Uname: Linux 3.19.0-30-generic x86_64 NonfreeKernelModules: wl ApportVersion: 2.17.2-0ubuntu1.5 Architecture: amd64 CurrentDesktop: Unity Date: Fri Oct 16 12:56:39 2015 DistUpgraded: Fresh install DistroCodename: vivid DistroVariant: ubuntu EcryptfsInUse: Yes InstallationDate: Installed on 2015-08-28 (48 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 15.04 "Vivid Vervet" - Release amd64 (20150422) MachineType: Dell Inc.
