Public bug reported: I'm using Ubuntu 16.04 dev with nvidia-settings 352.21-0ubuntu1 and I'm noticing that attributes are not always using the same unit. Here is an example:
sworddragon@ubuntu:~$ nvidia-settings -q all | grep -E "Attribute '(TotalDedicatedGPUMemory|VideoRam)'" Attribute 'VideoRam' (ubuntu:0.0): 2097152. Attribute 'VideoRam' (ubuntu:0[gpu:0]): 2097152. Attribute 'TotalDedicatedGPUMemory' (ubuntu:0[gpu:0]): 2040. VideoRam is shown in KiB while TotalDedicatedGPUMemory is shown in MiB. ** Affects: nvidia-settings (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Summary changed: - Values of attributes are not consistent + Attributes are not consistent -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to nvidia-settings in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1529324 Title: Attributes are not consistent To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-settings/+bug/1529324/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
