I am also facing the same problem on Lenovo Z50 70, although not as frequent as OP. I have attached my log (grep 'Atomic' in the log). The command `sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date` gives this output. 9BCN91WW 07/21/2015 which is latest, and can be checked from here: http://support.lenovo.com/in/hi/products/laptops-and-netbooks/lenovo-z-series-laptops/lenovo-z50-70/downloads/ds100528. I don't know if it is related but google-chrome crashed while playing video in full screen when I pressed [Esc] to return to normal display. I had to kill compiz and google-chrome to get it back.(Using tty1)
