Having been hit by bug #1535452 (please see the description), I went
back to Display settings and I tried to manually turn on the laptop's
builtin display that I had previously turned off (obviously did this
while the external monitor was connected). When I clicked on the button
to turn on the builtin display, xorg crashed.
Since this is a crasher, and potentially leads to disastrous data loss
(imagine you are left with no monitor and can't save your work prior to
switching off the laptop), I'll set this to confirm because there's no
point in waiting for some other random user to confirm it.
