The testing of the current image as a fresh download . . . a little time consuming on my slow DSL line . . . that may or may not happen. I just ran an update via apt-get a few days ago, and while running U-MATE this am the desktop image is the same blotchy deal that it has been since I posted this bug report. It's easier to run an update/upgrade than it is to even zsync and make a usb flash drive of the daily . . . .
