Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xorg

I used in Jaunty the "compose" key function in order to type vowels with
accents with my USA layout. However in karmic this functionality is not working
properly. I've checked in System->Preferences->Keyboard, and the option is
enabled, but when I type:
[Compose + ´ ] +[a] I don't obtain anything. It is curious because if I type
[Compose + ´ ] +[a]+[a] it appears "å" which is not the correct behavior.

I'm working on a Macbook 4,1.
