Probably blame the nvidia driver used : (EE) Failed to load module "nvidia" (module does not exist, 0)
There is buggy nvidia-375 (at least) from the archive; i'm using nvidia-378 fromm the X ppa, and it works well. note: reports against nvidia drivers exist on launchpad.
