Public bug reported: Hi,
on my ASRock Beebox N3150, 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Atom/Celeron/Pentium Processor x5-E8000/J3xxx/N3xxx Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 21) the graphics became significantly slower after upgrading from 16.10 to 17.04. Swapping windows or desktops does not really happen instantly anymore and became a process with sometimes visible progress. It looks as if the hardware acceleration was lost during update. regards ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 17.04 Package: xserver-xorg-core 2:1.19.3-1ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 4.10.0-19.21-generic 4.10.8 Uname: Linux 4.10.0-19-generic x86_64 NonfreeKernelModules: zfs zunicode zavl zcommon znvpair ApportVersion: 2.20.4-0ubuntu4 Architecture: amd64 CurrentDesktop: XFCE Date: Mon Apr 24 16:23:56 2017 InstallationDate: Installed on 2016-04-22 (367 days ago) InstallationMedia: Lubuntu 16.04 LTS "Xenial Xerus" - Release amd64 (20160420) SourcePackage: xorg-server UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to zesty on 2017-04-18 (5 days ago) ** Affects: xorg-server (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug zesty -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg-server in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1685811 Title: Acceleration lost after upgrading from 16.10 to 17.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg-server/+bug/1685811/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
