xkb-data should not depend on it, since the xkeyboard-config translations are provided via language packs on Ubuntu.
With that said, I agree that it's a bit odd that nothing depends on xkb- data-i18n. This is how the existence of xkb-data-i18n is explained in the changelog: "control, rules, xkb-data-i18n.install, xkb-data.install: Split out xkb-data-i18n to be used by console-setup." -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xkeyboard-config in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1660072 Title: Missing depends on xkb-data-i18n To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xkeyboard-config/+bug/1660072/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
