Public bug reported: When this controller was on firmware version 4.00, I was able to construct a udev rule so that Ubuntu could use it, although it did see 2 more axes than the controller actually had -- might file another bug for that.
Now that I've upgraded to firmware version 4.01, the controller's USB IDs are the same, but it never gets assigned a device file for some reason. I can't use it at all. ** Affects: xserver-xorg-input-joystick (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-input-joystick in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1720561 Title: 8bitdo FC30 Pro controller undetected with firmware 4.01 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-input-joystick/+bug/1720561/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
