Public bug reported: I've got a CPU with integrated GPU, it's the intel i5-8400; I've also installed an old asus [Radeon HD 6670/7670] GPU.
If I run ubuntu connecting the monitor to the integrated GPU, after phisically removing the Asus Radeon card, the performance is very sluggish, unusable both in a wayland session and in an X session. If I run ubuntu without phisically removing the Asus Radeon Card (disabled from the bios), there is an error that prevents me from logging in, and that makes the TTY consoles unusable: all I get is a blank screen with infos about /dev/sda1 If I use the radeon card, the performace is more or less ok. My question is why the integrated intel GPU doesn't work.
