This problem still affects me: - I got a full HD monitor (1920x1080) connected via HDMI. - Laptop display with internal resolution 3200x1800.
If I try to change the laptop display to 1600x900 (custom added resolution btw) to use 100% window scaling on both monitors, I'm instantly returned to the login screen (resolution changes are not applied). This happens every time I try to do this. However, I was able to change the laptop monitor resolution to 1920x1080! And, afterwards, I could even successfully change to 1600x900. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1722708 Title: Crash when setting laptop display resolution To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1722708/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
