Are you just here to keep me busy with useless conversation?
As I said: - that machine with that monitor connected over display port was working well for more than a year with ubuntu 16.10, 17.04, 17.10, it just took the nomodeset - and it works well under 18.04 just for the login screen, trouble begins after login. So don't tell me what the hardware is capable of. The hardware was doing the job until last friday when I put a fresh 18.04 on that machine. The question is: What happens between the login screen's X11-Session and the user X11-Session. Why is the former working and the latter not. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg-server in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1767993 Title: Lubuntu: X11 freezing/low resolution on N3150 intel graphics To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg-server/+bug/1767993/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
