Binary package hint: xorg
Booting karmic live-CD on my PC with Nvidia 9500GT and Samsung
T260(1920x1200 full hd) display connected via hdmi gives me a black
screen. I can hear the startup-sound and i can switch to console wich
lets me logged in. After switching from hdmi-cable to dvi and reboot the
xserver starts without a problem. Also after hd-install i can use the
hdmi without problems. I testet it now with karmic-beta and latest daily
build CD with same, black screen with hdmi, and working X with dvi. If
it's plugged with hdmi there is no signal on the display on the point
when X is startet, it's searching between vga/dvi/hdmi.
