lndir's two-argument form is unusual in that if a relative path is specified, it is relative *to the dest dir*, not to the current directory. This is mentioned in the man page:
> The fromdir argument may be relative (e.g., ../src) and is relative to todir (not the current directory). mkdir -p a/1/2 touch a/1/2/foo mkdir b lndir ../a b # First arg's path is relative to b, not $PWD lndir "$PWD/a" b # You can also specify an absolute path -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xutils-dev in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1555055 Title: lndir behavior does not match documentation To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xutils-dev/+bug/1555055/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
