apfrod, upstream has closed the bug due to no reply from you.
Please re-test against current Karmic to see if the bug still occurs.
There have been a number of improvements lately to 8xx cards so the
issue may now be resolved. If not, on the upstream bug report please
attach the output of `lsmod`, a fresh Xorg.0.log, and the output from
`dmesg` after reproducing the problem. Then mark the upstream bug
report 'Reopened' so they can investigate. Here's the upstream bug link

If the issue cannot be reproduced, just give your comment here and we'll
