You don't seem to have a kernel driver loaded for the Nvidia GPU, so any ports attached to that GPU (like HDMI usually is) won't be usable.
This can happen if the Nvidia driver was installed and compiled for the old kernel version but somehow failed to be rebuilt for the new kernel version. Please try using the 'Additional Drivers' app to reinstall the Nvidia driver and tell us what version it is. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to nvidia-graphics-drivers in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1897189 Title: [nvidia] External Monitor No Longer detected To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics-drivers/+bug/1897189/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
