I reckon the display freezing issue is partially resolved with update of chrome brower(potentially having risk from other apps). I don't suffer from freezing issue in these days. Thus, it's hard to hand the attachment to you, sorry. However, the booting problem is not solved with your recent updates. I individually diagnoused the problem with dmesg, and I found that I can see a suspicious message 'lg_laptop: Cannot get handle' is continuously logged.
