Public bug reported:

Running Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS.

Having consistent screen flickering on my display. No issues on Windows,
only on Linux OS. The screen glitches and flickers consistently
regardless of what I do. Straight from booting into user selection
screen. The BIOS (Lenovo) Logo does not flicker, only once Linux is
loaded that flickering begins. I have a 4k display on my laptop, and I
have tried running 1080p 120Hz / 60Hz, 4K whatever. The flickering never
stops.

Any help would be greatly appreciated I'm happy to send dmesg or any
extra debugging necessary.

After intensive research and asking other forums, it has been said that
the issue is with the Intel Driver, specifically the above package
reported.

Many thanks,
Hubert
