I've decoded your monitor's EDID data (see attached) and it only
supports the detailed modes 3440x1440 or 2560x1080. Not "2560x1440",
although you can fake it with xrandr as you say. So if that's the only
issue then this bug is invalid.

If you find 3440x1440 or 2560x1080 are missing by default however, then
this is kernel bug 1901470.
